Will be in Venice for next 5 days: Tips? Recomendations?

Buon giorno everyone!
Me and my sister are flying to Venice tomorrow for a short trip of 4 1/2 days. I know it's a bit late, but maybe some of you have some useful advice for first timers.
Also, if there are some typical etiquette blunders tourists tend to make (apart from the usual, like not asking wether people speak English/German before babbling away...), warnings would be very much appreciated: Don't wanna be an "ugly tourist".
And, last but not least: I have found one OBCZ. Is this the only one in Venice? It is active?
