Libro CAP

Hi!

Me scusa la lingua, ma no parlo Italiano; solo le capito un poco.

Let me introduce myself, I am Martijn Polder, and I live in Amsterdam, in Holland. I turned to the Italian bookcrossing community in a search for a book of zip-codes for Italian localities. It appears that Poste Italiane does sell a guide of this kind (the libro del Codice di Avviamento Postale 2006), but there is no way to buy it online.
You may wonder why I would need the CAP book: my mother is an avid eurobilltracker (an online community that collects and tracks serial codes from euro notes, see http://www.eurobilltracker.com), and sometimes gets Italian banknotes. The tracking system requires a zip-code to know the exact place the bill was found, so that's why she needs a CAP libro.

Which brings me to my request, in which I hope you can help: can anyone go to a ufficio postale, buy the libro CAP and sned it to me? Of course, I will reimburse he cost of the book and the sending-costs. In return I will send you a nice postcard and will register and release a book here in Amsterdam. Please PM me if you can help!

Molte grazie!

N.B. I am aware of the online search-option on PI's website, but she needs to look up CAPs offline as well.

Hi Martin

Before buying all italian CAP (a little, heavy and horrible book...), why don't you look here?

It might be useful...

p.s.: liber, accidenti, mi hai battuto... stavo pensando se dirgli che c'è anche il Cd, più leggero del libro...

I found the website...

Thanks for the suggestions, but I did find the cerca-option on Poste Italiano's website. However, my mother also needs to look up the zip-code when she is offline, that's why I was looking for the dreadfully heavy libro itself.
