DH was supposed to be up in London today, but decided not to go - I got
really pissed off because I was looking forward to having him out of
the house. Now I'm glad!
My boss was in a meeting in an office at Tavistock Sq where the bus
blew up earlier. He's fine but they are not allowed out. Our mobiles
are not working all the time, I suspect that is due to user demand.
I don't know about anyone else but I am frightened
Someone's also posted that they may also be trying to prevent terrorist
co-ordination by shutting down mobile networks.

Well, an explosion is a bit of a power surge, but IKWYM!
It could be a long day, I'm afraid.
I'm safe, was due to go into London this morning but had a stomach ache
so I thought forget it. I live in Enfield near the local Ambulance and
Fire stations and they are both empty. Not even a station watch has
been left behind.
an hour ago when i had a very strange
call (on my mobile as i was out shopping) from Chris/Acanthium asking
if me and Rob were ok?????
Subsequently transpired that Rob was up at
Aldwych when the explosions happened, he was trying to get hold of me,
work were trying to get hold of me (to tell me they couldnt get hold
of Rob).... He's ok, but said it was like a scene from a film with
people running all over the place, very scary.

all of our BC friends are safe, but my
heart goes out to all the victims and their families.
Reading station is crawling with police with sniffer dogs, and also media.
The waiting room was apparently evacuated very calmly because 'it was neeeded for another purpose.
The really strange thing is that the area where I live feels strange and
it tookk me a few minutes to work out why. Normally it's busy with
muslims. This afternoon they are missing. I imagine they are keeping
their heads down. I do hope nobody attacks the mosque behind me.

that is the end of it and that they don't decide to target the rest of

I've heard Waterloo is running trains so I'm going home now. Keep a
