Train trip from Rome to Florence - BC Novel

Doing some more research and have had no luck so far trying to find out what a traveller would see on this train journey. Does it pass by a lake or some other nice scenery? Thanks so much.

I know that the "regional train" between Rome and Florence stops in Castiglione del Lago, a small town by Trasimeno lake, one of the biggest and most beautiful in Italy, but I'm not sure that you can see it from the train

Not that I'm aware of. But I rarely travel by train... Sorry!
