Hello to all Italian Bookcrossers !
What a great forum you have. I joined recently, and even though I don't speak Italian very much, I enjoy browsing through your discussions.
Again it shows:
Italy is BookCrossing country #1 in Europe !!
I'll be visiting Perugia and Brescia briefly in July and I intend to drop some books in English at these cities. For Perugia I have already found the *warp* as an O.C.Z, in Brescia I will be meeting my friend *greca* (and hopefully some other local BCers) to trade books.
Check out my bookshelf, if you are interested to read in German:

Thank you!
Welcome to Italy, not only in our forum, you have chosen a beautiful part of it for your trip!
I'll have a look at your bookshelf, but my German is too much at "survival" level for any real book... my best effort is "wir moechten bezahlen", one of the phrases that I remember best from my one year of German learning!
Ciao!!!!

Hello mojitopt,
I am a new member here too and everybody has been very welcoming and friendly.
I'm learning the beautiful italian language as well, and everyone has been very forgiving of my mistakes. I'm sure they get a big giggle as well at how bad I am but they are all very nice about it and are helping me.
You'll have fun here too!

Cobaltcat in Italy we say:
Nessuno nasce imparato....
Don't look for it in any dictionary because it's really idiomatic and means Nobody is born "learned" ...
I'm sure you are sometimes amused about our mistakes but anyway if we all really really want to speak and exchange opinions, and laugh together no grammar rule and no language can stop us

Hi mojitopt, welcome here.
I am glad to hear you like Italy, as well as I love Munich and the all Bayern area, where I go often for my work.
Next time I will be there I am going to check if there is any book left in the wild, it would be interesting to catch one of them.
if it is in engish I will read it, otherwise i give to my friends that speak german (I studied it for 5 years but don't remember a word).
Hope you enjoy your staying in Italy, and hope to hear from you soon in this forum.
Bye
PG

A great day! My 1st international meetup (a small one, but always a meetup) with my friend Therese, HerbertWest and mojitopt! A couple of hours, for me (before I came back home by train), in a great time, talking about books, trying to talk in english, with great sound of Umbria Jazz...Such a perfect day!
