Luca era un bambino molto vivace e con una gran voglia di vivere, ma qualche
mese fa è successo qualcosa che ha cambiato radicalmente la sua vita.
Invece di giocare e correre con i suoi amici, ora deve lottare contro una
malattia che sembra incurabile e che porta alla morte:
la PANENCEFALITE SUBACUTA SCLEROSANTE.
Questa è una complicazione del morbillo che ha avuto anni prima e che
si è manifestata ora; colpisce una piccola percentuale di bambini ed è per
questo motivo che in Italia al momento non si sono trovate medicine e
specialisti in grado di curarla.
Luca sta, purtroppo, peggiorando di giorno in giorno: non parla quasi più,
riesce a mangiare se imboccato da qualcuno, non riesce più a stare in piedi.
I medici dell'ospedale hanno già detto che se non si troverà al più presto
possibile una medicina o degli specialisti che possano curare questa
malattia,
Luca non raggiungerà l'adolescenza.
La famiglia di Luca sta chiedendo un aiuto disperato a chiunque possa dargli
ancora una speranza di vita.
Se conosci questa malattia ed hai informazioni su ospedali, associazioni,
medicine o su qualsiasi cosa (in tutto il mondo) che possa aiutare Luca
in

8 YEAR OLD: TOO YOUNG TO DIE!!


Luca was a very smart and happy boy 8 year old boy until only a few months
ago when something radically changed his life - the "SUBACUTE SCLEROSING
PANENCEPHALITIS" (SSP) disease. This is a "MEASLES" disease, the symptoms
of
which are found a number of years after a child has suffered the "MEASLES"
and, therefore, neither remedies have been discovered nor specialist doctors
are able to fight against it.

Unfortunately, Luca is getting worse and worst day by day, he is almost
unable to talk, he needs help when eating and he has serious difficulty
when
walking or simply standing up on his own. Doctors say that if a new medicine
is not discovered soon, and new specialists trained to cope with this
disease as soon as possible, then Luca will not live into his teenage years.


Luca's family is shouting desperately to find any useful information from
people that can help to give them one more chance to save him.So, if anyone
has the same health problems with their children, or is in possession of
useful points of contact, informations or therapies, please share your
experiences with us. Please do not hesitate to contact us immediately in
any

APPEL D'AIDE - ENVOYER A TOUS - NE LA JETEZ PAS
8 ANS: TROP PEU POUR MOURIR!!!!

Luca était un enfant très vif et avec une très grande envie de vivre, mais
il y a quelques mois il est arrivée une chose qui a changé radicalement
sa
vie. Au lieu de jouer et courir avec ses amis, maintenant il doit lutter
contre une maladie qui paraisse incurable et qui porte à la mort: la
PANENCEPHALITE SUBAIGUE SCLEROSANTE POST-ROUGEOLE.


Cette maladie est une complication de la rougeole qu'il a eu il y a
quelques années et qui s'est manifestée maintenant; elle touche un petit
pourcentage d' enfants et c'est pour cette raison qu'en Italie jusqu'a
maintenant on n'a pas trouvé des médicaments et des spécialistes qui savent
la soigner.


Luca, malheureusement, va s'aggravant de jour en jour: il ne parle presque
plus, il peut manger seulement si quelqu'un peut le nourrir à la cuiller,
il
ne peut plus rester debout. Les médecins de l'hopital ont déjà dit que si
on
ne trouvera pas au plus tot un médicament ou bien des spécialistes qui
peuvent soigner cette maladie, Luca n'arrivera pas à l'adolescence.


La famille de Luca demande désespérément une aide à tous ceux qui puissent
encore leur donner un espoir de vie. Si tu connaisses cette maladie et tu
as
des informations sur hopitaux, associations, medicaments ou n'importe quelle
chose (dans le monde entier) qui peut aider Luca dans cette lutte pour la

8 JAHRE: ZU VIEL WENIGE, UM ZU STERBEN!!!!

Luca war ein sehr lebhaftes Kind und mit großem Spaß am Leben, aber vor
einigen Monaten geschah etwas, das sein Leben radikal veränderte. Statt
zu
spielen und mit seinen Freunden rennen, muss er jetzt gegen eine Krankheit
kämpfen, die als unheilbar gilt, und letzten Endes zum Tod führt: der
krankheit der sklerosierenden, subakuten Panenzephalitis.


Das ist eine Komplikation der Masern, die Jahre zuvor hatte,und die, wie
es
sich jetzt erwies; nur einen kleinen Prozentsatz von Kindern trifft. Daher
sind die Medizinern und Spezialisten in Italien im Augenblick nicht in der
Lage sind, ihm zu helfen. Lucas Zustand verschlechtert leider von Tag zu
Tag: er spricht fast nicht mehr, es gelingt ihm noch zu essen, wenn es von
jemand füttert, aber es gelingt ihm nicht mehr zu stehen.


Die Ärzte des Krankenhauses sagten, dass, wenn man nicht bald eine Medizin
oder einen Spezialisten findet, der diese Krankheit heilen kann, Luca seine
Jugend nicht überleben wird.


Die Familie Lucas bittet aus dieser Verzweiflung heraus jeden um Hilfe,
der
auch nur Schimmer von Hoffnung bieten kann. Wenn du also diese Krankheit
kennst und irgendwelche Informationen über Krankenhäuser, Mediziner,
Spezialisten oder Selbsthilfegruppen hast, die Luca bei seinem Kampf um
das
Leben helfen können, dann zögere bitte nicht und schreibe uns sofort an

8 AÑOS: ¡¡¡ MUY POCOS PAR MORIR!!!


Luca era un niño alegre y con grandes ganas de vivir, sin embargo, hace
unos
meses sucedió algo que cambió para siempre su vida. En vez de jugar y correr
con sus amigos, ahora debe luchar contra una enfermedad que parece
incurable: la Panencefalitis Subaguda Esclerosante post-sarampiòn. Esta
es
una complicacion del sarampión que padeció años antes y que se ha
manifestado ahora. Afecta a una pequeña parte de los niños y por este motivo
(en Italia) no se encuentran medicinas ni especialistas capaces de curarla.
Luca está, por tanto, empeorando de día en día, casi no habla, solo come
con
el auxilio de otra persona., ya no puede mantenerse en pie. Los médicos
del
hospital ya han dicho que de no encontrarse rápidamente una medicina o
especialista que estén en grado de curar esta enfermedad, no llegará a la
adolescencia. La familia de Luca está pidiendo desdesperadamente ayuda a
cualquiera que pueda darles una esperanza de vida. Si conoces esta
enfermedad y sabes de hospitales, asociaciones, medicinas, o cualquier otra
cosa ( en todo el mundo) que pueda ayudar a Luca en esta lucha por la vida
